Pulse joins Canadian Technology Accelerator in Philadelphia

The University City Science Center in Philadelphia, in collaboration with the Canadian Consulate General, has announced a business accelerator focused on health information and communication technology.

This program is similar to other to other accelerators launched in the U.S. but is unique in being focused on Healthcare and Information Technology.

Pulse Infoframe is one of six companies that compose the first class of the Canadian Technology Accelerator in Philadelphia.

This accelerator provides an opportunity for Canadian companies to create lasting relationships with U.S. healthcare entities such as hospitals, insurers, clinics and physicians.

Level-Up funding awarded to two TechAlliance clients


TechAlliance is pleased to announce that two of our Advisory Services clients were selected to receive funding through the MaRS Level-Up program. Pulse Infoframe and ENT Simulation Technologies Inc. will be using the funding to complete strategic projects over the next four months.TechAlliance is pleased to announce that two of our Advisory Services clients were selected to receive funding through the MaRS Level-Up program. Ali Hamou believes that Level-Up will enable Pulse Infoframe to attract strategic investors. “The Level-Up funding will allow us to develop an investor presentation and supporting data points that communicate a unique business model leveraged upon an innovative product within the health care informatics domain. We are confident that the resulting work product will communicate our compelling advantages effectively to the investor community.”

Jaipreet S. Bindra of ENT Simulation Technologies says the Level-Up funding will help with the release of their simulator for teaching otoscopy in the next quarter. ”The Level-up program provides funding for resources required for conducting web-based demos for marketing the simulator to potential distributors and customers as well as prepare material to help complete initial sales.”

Level-Up is a funding program available to early-stage technology entrepreneurs looking to advance their company through a strategic, short-term, high-impact project. The program is offered through MaRS as part of the Ontario Network of Excellent (ONE), and funded by the Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation (MEDI).

Pulse Infoframe wins the Techcellence 2012 Innovation Award


Pulse Infoframe, a secure, cloud-based health care analytics company, announced today that it is the recipient of the Techcellence 2012 Innovation Award. Pulse Infoframe received this honour at the Tech Alliance Gearing Up for Growth Conference in London on March 27, 2012. The Innovation Award highlights a technology-based start-up in London and Southwestern Ontario with novel technology that is a creative solution to a problem in the marketplace.

Pulse Infoframe has developed enabling technology that allows physicians in specialty clinics to easily capture, organize, model, store, and share detailed administrative and medical data (i.e. medical histories, appointment scheduling, blood work, and imaging results) with patients and other health care stakeholders through a secure, web-based application.
